Upon reaching Quan Ba Heaven Gate, guests can admire the picturesque town of Tam Son.
The Quan Ba Twin Mountains rise amidst layers of rocky peaks and terraced fields, their peculiar shape and stance leaving visitors in awe of nature’s grandeur. The two hills are tied to the poetic legend of "Fairy Mountain."
Visit Pho Cao, a village known for its characteristic earthen-walled houses in golden hues, wooden gates nestled within stone fences—hallmarks of the rocky highlands, home to the Mong, Han, Dao, and Pu Peo ethnic groups.
From Yen Minh toward Dong Van Town, at the Phó Bảng intersection, travelers reaching the mountain pass summit can gaze upon the entire Sung La Valley below. The group boards a boat for a cruise along Tu San Gorge – Nho Que River. The Nho Que River enters Vietnam from Seo Lung Hamlet, Lung Cu Commune, Dong Van District, flowing through Tu San Gorge, then along Ma Pi Leng Pass. Upon reaching Meo Vac, it changes course eastward into Cao Bang Province before merging with the Gam River.
Tu San Gorge is considered the deepest gorge in Southeast Asia and is situated in a valley with a one-of-a-kind geological formation in Vietnam. The gorge’s mystical, poetic beauty is likened to an emerald-green thread weaving through the rugged northeastern mountains (motorbike and boat fees are at the traveler’s own expense).
