Morning:

Guests arrive at the domestic terminal of Tân Sơn Nhất Airport at least two hours before departure.

A Benthanh CNS Travel representative will greet and assist guests with check-in for their flight to Hanoi.

Upon arrival at Nội Bài Airport, the tour guide welcomes the group and departs for Hà Giang.

Afternoon: Stop for a lunch break.

The journey continues to Hà Giang, a land of winding mountain passes, where ethnic minorities live with simplicity and warmth—despite hardships, their smiles always shine.

Visit Hạ Thành Cultural & Ecotourism Village, surrounded by cascading rice terraces. Hạ Thành offers an authentic experience with traditional stilt houses, melodic folk songs such as hát lượn, hát cọi, hát then, captivating folk dances, spiritual rituals, and mystical festivals—taking visitors on a journey back to the roots of Vietnamese heritage.

Evening: Enjoy dinner. Overnight in Hà Giang.

Morning: Have breakfast.

Leaving Hà Giang city, the road to Quản Bạ unfolds between towering mountain cliffs, winding through sharp curves and ascending Pắc Sum Pass. The group stops at Bắc Sum Slope to enjoy the scenery and take photos.

Upon reaching Quản Bạ Heaven’s Gate, visitors can admire the picturesque Tam Sơn town below.

Quản Bạ Twin Mountains emerge among the layers of limestone peaks and terraced fields, with a unique shape and striking presence that astonishes visitors with nature’s artistry. These two hills are linked to the poetic legend of "Fairy Mountain."

Visit Phố Cáo, a village known for its distinctive yellow-earth houses, wooden gates, and stone fences—a signature feature of the Hà Giang highlands, home to the Mông, Hán, Dao, and Pu Péo ethnic groups.

From Yên Minh toward Đồng Văn town, at the Phó Bảng junction, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Sủng Là valley from the mountaintop. The winding mountain road offers a breathtaking perspective of a peaceful and picturesque landscape. In Sủng Là, the group visits the ancient H’mong house featured in the film Chuyện của Pao.

Afternoon: Have lunch.

The group explores the Vương Chí Sình Palace, the former residence of the H’mong king—a rare and uniquely designed architectural masterpiece in Hà Giang.

Continue to Lũng Cú Flag Tower, the northernmost point of Vietnam. From the top of the tower, visitors can take in the panoramic view of the Lô Lô ethnic village, with its winding paths weaving through rice fields and traditional houses nestled in lush greenery.

Evening: Have dinner. Overnight stay in Đồng Văn.

The group continues the journey to Mèo Vạc, stopping along the way to admire the breathtaking Mã Pì Lèng Pass—one of the "Four Great Passes" of northern Vietnam. Located in the Đồng Văn Karst Plateau, Mã Pì Lèng features a dramatic landscape with towering cliffs on one side and the serene Nho Quế River on the other.

Board a boat for a scenic cruise through Tu Sản Gorge on the Nho Quế River. Flowing into Vietnam from Séo Lủng village in Lũng Cú, Đồng Văn, the Nho Quế River winds through Tu Sản Gorge and along Mã Pì Lèng Pass before reaching Mèo Vạc, then continues eastward into Cao Bằng province and merges with the Gâm River.

Tu Sản Gorge is regarded as the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia, nestled within a valley of unique geological formations. With its emerald-green waters weaving through the rugged northern mountains, the gorge exudes a mystical and poetic beauty. (Motorbike taxi and boat ride expenses are self-funded.)

Afternoon: Have lunch.

Arrive in Mèo Vạc town. If visiting on a Sunday, guests can experience the Mèo Vạc Market, a vibrant cultural gathering of ethnic minorities in the Đồng Văn Karst Plateau. This market showcases unique customs and traditions, unlike any other in Vietnam.

Mèo Vạc is also known for its local delicacies, including dried beef, đậu xi (a regional soybean variety), Tát Ngà green tea, Ha Ía corn liquor, and various traditional herbal medicines.

Evening: Arrive in Cao Bằng for dinner. Overnight stay in Cao Bằng.

DAY 4: CROSS-BORDER JOURNEY: BẢN GIỐC WATERFALL - ĐỨC THIÊN (DETIAN CHINA)	Morning	Noon	Evening

Morning: Have breakfast.

The group continues to Bản Giốc Waterfall for a 5-hour cross-border tour between Vietnam and China, covering a 2 km walking route.

09:00 AM – The tour guide welcomes the group at the checkpoint for entry procedures.
09:30 – 10:30 AM – Walk through the International Street after crossing the checkpoint.
11:00 AM – Arrive at the main square to enjoy a live music performance.
11:30 – 12:15 PM – Lunch at a restaurant on the second floor of International Street.
12:30 PM – Explore Café Street, a vibrant area with numerous cafés and restaurants for visitors.
12:45 PM – Take photos at four scenic viewpoints overlooking Bản Giốc – Detian Waterfall from above.

1:00 PM – Walk along the riverside path to get closer to the waterfall. Guests may opt for a boat ride for a better view (self-funded).
1:15 PM – Visit Vietnamese Café Hut – Time Farm Café.
1:30 PM – Experience the 500m glass bridge and slide in China (ticket fee of 350,000 VND per person not included).
1:45 PM – Return to Drum Square.
2:00 PM – Complete border crossing procedures to return to Vietnam.

The group then heads back to Cao Bằng.

Evening: Have dinner. Overnight stay in Cao Bằng.

DAY 5: PẮC PÓ – BẮC KAN – BA BỂ	Morning	Noon	Evening

Visit Pác Bó Historical Site, where President Hồ Chí Minh resided after more than 30 years abroad, returning to lead the Vietnamese revolution on February 8, 1941. The visit includes Bo Bam Cave, Cò Rạc Field, Cốc Pó Cave, Lê-nin Stream, Karl Marx Mountain, and Nậm Stream.

The group then visits the Kim Đồng Heroic Martyr Memorial, part of a revolutionary historical site that honors his contributions and marks the founding place of the National Salvation Children's Team.

Afternoon: Have lunch.

Continue the journey to Ba Bể Lake Tourist Area.

Evening: Have dinner. Overnight stay at Ba Bể Lake.

The group boards a boat to explore the breathtaking natural scenery of Ba Bể Lake, often referred to as a miniature Hạ Long Bay of Bắc Kạn province and historically honored as the "Number One Natural Wonder of Ba Lake." Guests will take a boat tour to visit Puông Cave, Ao Tiên, and learn about the daily life of the Tày and Nùng ethnic communities.

Stop at Bà Góa Island, a charming little island located in the heart of the lake, which is tied to the legend of its formation.

Afternoon: Have lunch.

The group departs for Hanoi.

The tour guide escorts the group to Nội Bài Airport for the return flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

CHILDREN'S PRICING
Under 2 years old: Airfare per airline policy; free tour. Parents cover all additional expenses for food, accommodation, sightseeing (if any). 2 – under 5 years old: 100% airfare; free tour. Parents cover additional expenses. Each pair of adults may accompany only one child under 5 for free; the second child must purchase 50% of the tour price. 5 – under 11 years old: 100% airfare; 50% tour price. Includes meals, seat on the vehicle, and shared accommodation with family. Each pair of adults may accompany only one child in this age group; the second child requires a separate bed (single supplement applies). 11 years and older: Full adult price and service.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
After confirmation and payment (at least 50% deposit to secure the booking and full payment of 100% of the total tour price at least 15 days before departure). If the full payment of 100% of the total tour price is not made on time and in the correct amount, it will be considered that the customer has voluntarily canceled the tour, and the deposit will be forfeited. Airline/train/high-speed boat tickets will be issued immediately after payment is made and after confirming the accuracy of the passenger's full name (exactly as written in the passport or ID card), date of birth, etc., as required by the carrier. Any changes related to issued tickets, including departure time, passenger name, or ticket cancellation, will be subject to the following fees: Immediately after booking or payment, or more than 15 days before departure: cancellation fee of 30% of the tour price + 100% of the airline ticket cost. Cancellation 10 days before departure: cancellation fee of 50% of the tour price + 100% of the airline ticket cost. Cancellation 7 days before departure: cancellation fee of 70% of the tour price + 100% of the airline ticket cost. Cancellation 5 days before departure: cancellation fee of 100% of the tour price + 100% of the airline ticket cost. If the customer arrives late for departure, it will be considered as a cancellation 5 days before departure. Due to the nature of a group tour with individual guests, Benthanh CNS Travel is responsible for gathering enough registered customers (at least 10 adult guests) for the tour to proceed as scheduled. If the number of guests is below 10, Benthanh CNS Travel will notify customers 3 days before departure and will either agree on a new departure date or refund the full deposit. Tour cancellations must be communicated directly to Benthanh CNS Travel via fax, email, or text message and must be confirmed by Benthanh CNS Travel. Cancellations made via phone calls will not be accepted. Deposit, payment, cancellation, and tour rescheduling deadlines do not include Saturdays and Sundays. In cases of force majeure such as terrorism, riots, natural disasters, or floods, Benthanh CNS Travel will proactively notify customers of any necessary changes, including canceling or replacing the itinerary with an alternative of equivalent value. If the new itinerary incurs additional costs, the customer will be responsible for covering them. Both parties are expected to make every effort to minimize any losses caused by force majeure. For itinerary or flight schedule changes due to airline, train, or boat service disruptions, Benthanh CNS Travel is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as meals, restaurants, hotels, transportation, or tour guides.
NOTE
When registering for the tour, customers are required to provide their personal identification documents to the travel agency for ticket issuance and travel insurance registration. The customer's personal documents (ID card or passport) are the customer's responsibility. Any issues related to unclear images or information on the original documents, expired passports or ID cards, or non-compliance with Vietnamese legal regulations will not be the responsibility of Benthanh CNS Travel, and no refunds will be issued for any additional costs incurred. For foreigners or Vietnamese residing abroad, when joining the tour, they must carry their original passport and a valid Vietnam visa to complete airline check-in procedures as per airline regulations. For children under 12 years old, a birth certificate (either the original or a notarized copy with a valid certification) is required for airline check-in procedures. For customers aged 14 and above, a valid ID card or passport is mandatory. A birth certificate will not be accepted. If a child aged 14 or older does not yet have an ID card or passport, they must present both a Certificate of Personal Identification (issued and verified by local authorities, with valid certification) and their birth certificate. Certain arrangements in the itinerary, including flight times, train schedules, and high-speed boat departures, may be adjusted based on actual travel conditions (weather, traffic, etc.). Check-in & check-out policy at hotels/resorts: Check-in after 2:00 PM and check-out before 12:00 PM. Customers are responsible for securing their own luggage and personal belongings throughout the trip. For health and food safety reasons, customers are kindly requested not to bring outside food into restaurants and hotels. Any beverages brought in must be approved by the restaurant/hotel and may be subject to an additional fee if applicable.
