Plan for operating domestic passenger terminals T1, T3

According to official information from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, starting from May 5, 2025, there will be significant changes in the allocation of terminals for flights.

- Passenger Terminal T1: Serves domestic flights of 04 airlines: Vasco, Bamboo Airways, Vietravel Airlines, Pacific Airlines.

- Passenger Terminal T3: Serves domestic flights of 02 airlines: Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air.

Plan to change the operation of passenger terminal T3

1. Phase 1:

- Conducting a real test flight on the route Tan Son Nhat – Van Don – Tan Son Nhat (SGN – VDO – SGN)

- Airlines: Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air

- Estimated implementation time: Starting from 04:01 on April 24, 2025

2. Phase 2:

- Conducting a practical test of the Tan Son Nhat – Noi Bai – Tan Son Nhat flight route (SGN – HAN – SGN)

- Airlines: Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air

- Expected implementation time: Starting from 04:01 on April 28, 2025

3. Inauguration of passenger terminal T3

- Time: April 30, 2025

4. Official challenge

- Exploiting all domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air

- Application period: Starting at 04:01 on May 5, 2025.

Important note

- Terminal T1 and T3 are separated by a significantly long distance. If you go to the wrong terminal, you risk missing your flight.

- Passengers of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air need to carefully check information to ensure smooth travel and check-in at the airport.
